Our Story

For as long as I can remember scents were something I was surrounded by, from the women in my family’s extensive perfume collection to my mother’s perfume oils. Nostalgic memories of aromatic waves of incense wafting through my childhood home come to mind. My Mother would mix a few of her favorite perfume oils into her incense, along with Oudh (agar wood shavings). That mixture would create the most divine unique scent that was exclusive to our home.

 

That was my introduction into the world of luxury niche scents. As I continued to grow, fragrance remained a huge part of my life.

 

I got the opportunity to travel and live in the Middle East. As a fragrance enthusiast, living in the Gulf was an absolute dream! To be submerged in a society that shared my love of luxury fragrance was unbelievable. From the market to the malls and even the schools; scents permeated everything that surrounded.

One summer I met a wonderful family that birthed my inspiration to turn my passion into a business. Thus the “Haus Of Areej” was born.
